History

H.F.Bauer since 1924 until today

Hermann Friedrich Bauer, jeweller and supervisor, showed in 1924 entrepreneurial spirit, and thanks to his three sons Robert, Gustav and Eugen and his team of three employees, managed to manufacture his first watch cases and bracelets in gold.
As early as in 1932, he rented the first factory building in which already 40 employees were working, and he developed further the program of manufacturing.
The first movements are produced and a watchmaking department is set up.
The daughter of Rober Bauer, Ruth Anneliese Bauer, starts her apprentice.
Edwin Walser joins the company in may 1946 and soon marries Ruth A. Bauer.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the company exports much of its production and had in 1948 over 200 employees.
In 1974 Edwin Walser sets up the company Walser-Bauer KG, precious metals - semi-finished products - precious metal trade - manufacturing of dental alloys.
The 75th anniversary of the company H.F.Bauer is celebrated in 1999 and the same year, the company Walser-Bauer celebrates its 25th anniversary.
In 2004, both companies merge and form the company Bauer-Walser AG.
Since the merger, the main focus of the company is again clearly the manufacturing of high quality watches as well as watch bracelets and distributing its products throughout Europe.
With its brand names "H.F.Bauer" and "Priosa", the company succeeds to distribute its luxury products on a world-wide scale.
The success is growing thanks to 80 years of experience, latest technologies and a top quality service.
